The beginning was pretty good, but the animation/lip sync breaks near the end.

I think your last shot has an awkward camera angle, just the way it's looking downwards. It makes it hard for us to see the tall guy's face, particularly because he looks down and to the side. Also, the lighting makes it hard to read the tall guy's face as well. It's a good opening though, it very clearly sets up your scene.
