Two characters crouch around an entrance to sneak and spy on who's inside. And eventually, start scoffing at each other.

Your animation could have been done a little more aesthetically to give it a more finished style. For lipsync, the movement of the mouth seems a bit too exaggerated to me. Also the position of the character in front is a bit strange, maybe taking a photo in this reference could help!

I find the character design a little bit to simple, but i like the animation in general.

I like this 2D animation, it's a little simple and is missing some smootheness, but with a bit more time you could have made something great!
