I enjoy the idea of this, though I feel the establishing shot in the beginning was unnecessary to tell the story. The lunge in at the end is great, but I think the biggest problem the animation faces at the moment is the rigidity of the characters. They seem very upright throughout, which can be helped by bending their backs into a c curve, even if it's subtle. This allows them to stand tall without seeming like they're being held up by strings.

Work a lot on poses. Will definitely improve your animation.
