Could use some work on smoothing it out, the hands freeze in mid air instead of smoothly offsetting a bit.

I felt the camera is little bit weird for me. Maybe in the beginning she doesn't have to face the camera (maybe not the first person's perspective). I like the kid's acting choice, it's more natural than the mom. Maybe mom's chest a bit over twisted when she said "or me". Nice setting though, good job!
