Very endearing indeed, well done! You totally get the sense of big sis caring for younger brother, or mother son. The areas which you could improve are the girl's expressions and her lipsynch. The lip synch is a bit 'loose'. You have her wide eyed all the time, whereas a few changes to show more concentration, e.g, when tapping the nose, would sell it better. Watch out for the eye positions too, they are slightly dead eye because they mostly seem rather fixed in one line of view. Tiny movements, eyeliids coming slightly down overlapping during concentration etc. A bit more time to refine that and it could be a winner, I have you in my top 5 for now. Trouble is, the character's eyes seem a bit squirrel like, so perhaps it is hard to position the view like human ones. Watch out with pose to pose animation here, the early arm poses which are slightly stiff, could use some subtle body movement to pad it out. Am being very picky.
