I'd say that the eyes move around a bit too much. At the beginning I thought the voice was coming from the right because of where the character was looking, but then he looks to the left so I'm a bit confused on that part. If you're going to fix it up, I would suggest fixing that so his eye direction is clear.
I'm not entirely sure on the story of this either. More elements in the background would help to establish the setting and it would help with the storytelling. Moving your character so he's positioned on a third (rule of thirds) would give the scene better composition as well.
