Terrific concept, beautifully executed. The artwork is...wow..terrific. The animation itself, however...needs more frames per seconds, as it's rather animatic-like. Fantastic drawing skills.

Love the story feel but the shot of shield and the animal seem really short. Maybe consider focusing on the animal more when he describes monsters instead of having the shield there
