January 2008 Competition
Congratulations to Ryan Daniel, winner of the 11 Second Club January Competition! This was a challenging audio file, and there were a lot of excellent entries, but Ryan won voters over with his appealing, cartoony style and great facial animation. We encourage everyone to check out all the great work that was done this month!
In recognition of his efforts, Ryan has won a professional AnimationMentor eCritique of his entry, recorded by veteran animator Dimos Vrysellas! Dimos worked as both a traditional and CG animator at DreamWorks Feature Animation before starting his own studio, click here to check out his critique of the winning entry!
Big thanks go to the 585 people who voted, and for the 1638 comments they left on the entries. It's great seeing so many people critiquing the entries, getting lots feedback is a great way to improve as an animator!
