Very nice idea and execution, I would just say the animation is a bit flotty.

overall the motion is nice, and you're clearly paying attention to anticipation, overshoot, etc. I would say biggest issue is probably just acting choices? Your characters are making melodrama poses, and making the beginner mistake of trying to act everything out using the hands. Make sure you act out the scene yourself! Try to relax, and (in video reference) see what kinds of poses and acting choices come naturally. Act it out over and over! Start simple, and build up from there!
