I think this would be more interesting if there were any secondary action which added more information or subtext to the story

You did a bang up job! The main thing I'd comment on is the acting choice at around frame 125 is confusing to me. I get what you're going for, but the switch between a smug/unimpressed expression and a more worried one feels too sudden. The lipsync gets a bit lost in the second half of the animation as well. Great acting and animation fundamentals overall though. Love the lighting too!

Very professional looking, the gestures were great too, not too many just enough, wasn't too sure about the last one (can't decide if he's in pain or looking at something on the floor)
I think this could do well.
