I like this idea. However, the lip syncing could use less of open mouth action. And, her eyes look like they are looking randomly no where. Maybe give both of their actions more meaning, clarity, and emphasis.

The context is not clear, and there's too much movement, it becomes distracting for the viewer. Study the animation principle "staging"
