I think it's probably the nostalgia speaking, but there's something magical about the paper flip/ pegbar pencil test.
Maybe it's a bit pretentious to show the paper as photos (not scans, as far as I know) - I think the animator's fingertip makes it into the frame, but I respect the level of pretentiousness.
