Good acting in both characters! The uncertainty in the young one's eyes, and the silliness of the mom placing the helmet on her head; well-executed :) Maybe speed up the wink a little, and bring the mom's head into the second shot more.

The only part of the animation, that I liked, was towards the end, where the other is leading down to her son.
