Fun characters and idea! I think there's possibly a bit too much shuffling movement back and forth with Sherlock's torso, it's a bit distracting from the rest of the animation.

Additionally, I feel that the expanding wider shots aren't really necessary as they detract from the emotions of the characters, but the quick pan shot between the two close-ups is really nice.

I think this has a lot of potential though and the puppet design is great, so keep going!
