The female character’s facial expression and lip syncing are really good. However, it feels strange that a small ball breaks the entire ship. It might help to add more keyframes to show the boat breaking gradually. Also, the gorilla should look scared immediately after the ship breaks, not a few seconds later.

Cute concept, but quite unrendered, and the ship breaking like that isn't very belieable.

The actual wreck is terribly animated- but the characters are very expressive, almost to the point of seeming rotoscoped.
Pixar should hire this animator.
