the lip-syncing needs improvement the lips don't move that much and the jaw just goes up and down. the exadurated facial features on the second character looks good but the first one looks a little dull

Audio issues aside, I feel that the characters are too static throughout, and I'm not sure that thumbs bend like that. Work on adding more motion, as humans are a jumble of fibres working to keep you up. You're never completely still.
