I love the concept of what is going on, but the animation looks poor and pretty choppy.

Nice blocked in quadruped and human character poses. Continue working with this scene into your next animation pass. When the dog enters the scene, you can arch his walking path more so he doesn't directly rotate 90 degrees to the house.
