I'd recommend you shoot reference before starting. Everything looks pretty wooden... no pun intended. The lip sync needs improving. I didn't expect the one with the hat to smell the other character...ha.

Hi there. I like this animation of yours. The image plane background fits the story of where our two characters in the scene stand, including the camera angle. As for the animation itself, it looks good! A suggestion I have is to make the guy on the left lean backward a bit when the sheriff points/pushes his index finger on his chest or make the sheriff take a bite out of the cookie he swiped from the rookie. Overall, awesome work!
