October 2008 Competition
Congratulations to Patrick Junghans, winner of the 11 Second Club October Competition! Patrick's entry did have impressive lighting and effects, but voters say it was his natural, detailed animation and his emotional acting performances that pushed him to the top.
Big thanks go to the 757 people who voted, and for the 2156 comments they left on the entries! We encourage everyone to check out all the great work that was done this month.
In recognition of his efforts, Patrick has won a professional AnimationMentor eCritique of his entry, recorded this month by Tippett Studios animator Brian Mendenhall! Brian has worked on films like Starship Troopers 2, Hellboy, Constantine, Charlottes Web, Enchanted, and Spiderwick. Click here to see his excellent critique of the winning entry!
