Picking an appropriate costume can be a very trying time

Need to work on your curves, a lot of the movements still appear to be linear. More articulation on the fingers for both characters (such as the father's hands could be pointing at the book at the end). More expression on the father, while the boys micro-expressions are good, they could still use a little bit more added. Lip sync on the father is good the boy needs a bit more.
