I think the boy with the gun hesitated a bit too long before reacting to the man with the knife. Maybe get him reacting a bit sooner, a bit more exagerrated. Lovely work on the villain though!

Nice setup but the staging makes it a bit hard to understand that characters are actually standing behind each other and not next to each other. I would have more a side view on this, and then have the character's heads turned more towards each other, so their eyes are actually looking at the other character.
