Go search youtube on "moving holds". Learning how to do moving holds will get rid of the statue-like deadness of still poses and improve your animation a lot. Love the setting and characters you chose, especially the forest background. Lots of visual appeal.

I think your characters could benefit a lot from some hips/spine/shoulder movement, it would help a lot to break up some of their stiffness!
