Lacks fundamentals. You need to get the body more involved. The tails appear to have more care to them than the rest of the body. In fact, they could be considered distracting since they have the most movement. The staging could improve. Both characters are very straight forward. Maybe next time add a bit of angle to your characters so that they are facing one another. I would also darken up the foreground character a bit to put him more in shadow so that he's not completing in the shot with the main character.
