I feel as if the animation could add or use proper tuning and principles. You should also add better concepts and designs to give out a lively feel. Also I would focus on adding more expression on the characters faces.

Too floaty throughout. Staging could be better. For you, I would work on the fundamentals. Start with the bouncing ball exercise and work your way up to performances.
