You should work on making the characters move more. Right now (excluding the ending) the only things that I can see moving are the mouths and eyes.
There are many books and websites that you can read to get you kick started in the right direction for 2d or 3d animation. Good luck! :-)

Funny concept- Yet, there's no real animated movements in here- without them, you can barely call this an animation.
My advice: look up '12 Principles of Animation' on google, do some research and learning. Make some animated tests and just practice a lot.

The characters are very static and their lip sync is very basic but I like their eye animation and the tomato bursting at the end.
