The framing is a problem because the old man isn't looking where the younger man is actually standing and there's a lack of continuity from the first shot to the second (his hands are on the monster's face in the second shot, but not the first). The third cut is nicely done (cutting on movement) and the old man's reaction is good, but feels just a beat behind.

Be careful of that hand. On F140 it hits a solid wall. Looks very robotic. Like his take after the hand pops up.
