Too many movements, and the second character seems annoyed. A different mood would probably fit.

I like the expressions! The deformation of the character shapes/lines is a distracting, hard to connect the lip sync with the audio.

Hmm, the acting for the kid doesn't quite match the tone of his voice. He sounds defeated, yet his actions come across as accusatory at the end, especially with that snarled expression. The movements are a bit too exaggerated as well. However, the character designs are pleasant
