I may just be prejudice against that style of animation. It doesn't allow much lifelike movement. But I like the camera angles.

Fun idea. Feels overly "flat" for some reason.

Consistent style, funny characters. Like how characters fit in the environment. Lip sync could use just one more pass.
what if you had the wise one walk forward as they spoke and pushed in the camera? would help the tension.
also, go a little crazier on the face expressions! very charming
