good facial expressions of the sitting guy, Old guy is little too floaty and stiff, Lipsync is also off somewhere

I like your first character's poses ! :) I think you could work more on the lipsync, make it more clear. Try working with a mirror to really see the moves and shapes your lips make. It also lacks a bit of follow through.
